How much does it cost to request help?

You pay a flat request fee to SPANA, not the provider. Within 30km it's R200 (≈ $11 / ¥80). Within 50km it's R400 (≈ $22 / ¥160). Beyond 50km the provider sends you a fee offer and you accept and pay in one step.

Do providers pay anything?

No. Providers never pay subscriptions or commissions. Only customers pay the request fee directly to SPANA.

When do I pay?

After a provider accepts your request, you'll see a Pay button under My Requests. Once you pay the SPANA request fee the job is confirmed.

How are providers vetted?

Providers are either certified (with verified credentials) or autodidact (self-taught, body-verified). You can see their rating, completed jobs, and skill before hiring.

What if a provider doesn't show up or does poor work?

File a complaint from the request page. Providers with 3+ complaints in 6 months are automatically blocked for 30 days.
